A Community of Life
In 2020, Rik van der Linden entered into the service of nature as a filmmaker. Since then, he has devoted himself exclusively to nature documentaries — with humans in the leading role. In A Community of Life, Nature-philosopher Matthijs Schouten looks into the mirror that the oak processionary caterpillar holds up to us. In a poetic journey full of wonder along the many inhabitants of the oak, the tree itself also comes to life. And looking through its eyes, we become wiser about our own lives…
