This autumn, Café De Berkenplas will once again be hosting the Broedpleats talent concerts. Young Dutch musicians, accompanied by Club Classique, will be presenting their latest programmes here. De Berkenplas combines the atmosphere of a traditional pub with the tranquillity of nature, but is more than just a unique concert venue: it is a breeding ground where the musicians of the future come into their own.
Broedpleats is an initiative of the festival and an extension of the masterclass programme. The musicians will gather in early September at Nynke’s Pleats in Piaam, where they will work with festival director Caspar Vos and the artistic directors of Club Classique and the Nederlands Blazers Ensemble. You can hear the results during the autumn edition.
