The day begins with four voices telling a single story. The award-winning Fibonacci Quartet returns to the island, where they previously made a strong impression during the masterclasses and have since grown to become one of Europe’s most promising string quartets.
This morning concert centres on Leoš Janáček’s Intimate Letters: a work full of longing, tension and unspoken emotions, written as a musical declaration of love. The music sounds direct and personal, as if you were witnessing an intimate conversation up close.
