Evening concert De Stag
Even amid the horrors of the persecution of the Jews: music! Among the victims in the Theresienstadt ghetto were numerous musicians, including Gideon Klein. During his last weeks in the camp, just before being murdered in Auschwitz on liberation day, he composed a String Trio full of memories of Moravia. Then it's time for a trip through Russia with songs by Borodin, Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky. For this, baritone Michael Wilmering is joined by sister and brother Van Poucke. The theme? Love, of course, in all its colours.
