The perfect qualities for the Debussy and Schubert pieces she will perform tonight. Debussy's Images borrow from Baudelaire's idea that scents, colours and sounds reflect each other. Colourful and dreamlike, with hints of both Ravel and Rameau. Schubert's Impromptus balance between serene moments and fiery passages, imbued with romantic intensity and subtle atmosphere, with here and there a Hungarian touch.
