Public Masterclass with Maria Milstein
Last spring we presented the Schiermonnikoog Festival Awards. The winners will return to the island this fall and will receive masterclasses from musical heavyweights. Russian-Dutch violinist Maria Milstein will work with prize winner Céleste Klingelschmitt on Debussy's violin sonata – a work she knows down to the finest detail. Her recording of it was voted best CD of the year by the Dutch press in 2017.
During the public masterclasses, visitors get a unique look behind the scenes. The final result can be heard during the breakfast concert on Tuesday in the RK-Kapel.
