Natural Selection (late)

With the Nederlandse Muziekprijs 2025 in her pocket, this afternoon Elisabeth Hetherington will take you through songs that make our connection with nature and the supernatural tangible. Stories of wonder, desire, fear, change and loss unfold in music rooted in poetry, folk tales and myths. The programme takes a look at how we deal with what is greater than ourselves—with awe, longing, sadness or surrender. Nature is not a background here, but a lively character: mysterious, powerful and sometimes unpredictable, just like on Schiermonnikoog.
