Terzetto
Koffieconcert
Sometimes music just comes about at home. Dvořák’s Terzetto is one such work: written for two violins and a viola, intended to be played together with friends.
In this coffee concert, that idea comes to life almost literally. Abigél Králik and Mathis Rochat – a duo on stage and a couple off it – perform together with their good friend Júlia Pusker. A friendship that is audible in their ensemble playing.
The piece is anything but simple: so demanding that Dvořák later wrote a more accessible alternative. It is precisely this that makes the Terzetto sparkle: lively, personal and full of energy. Music that feels close to home – exactly as intended.
