The future is playing out here. The Sound of Talent showcases what happens when young musicians are given the space to grow, experiment and play together.
The concert opens with tenor Steven van der Linden, who makes his festival debut with Schumann’s Liederkreis, accompanied by Caspar Vos. A voice to watch out for.
Afterwards, four young musicians return to the island following their participation in the masterclasses. Together, they delve into Brahms’ First Piano Quartet – a work they have practised intensively, including with Ronald Brautigam.
The thrilling final movement will have you on the edge of your seat. Talent in the making – and already compelling.
