Public Masterclass with Valeriy Sokolov
Last spring we presented the Schiermonnikoog Festival Awards. The winners will return to the island this fall and will receive masterclasses from musical heavyweights. The prize winners will form a piano quartet together, coached by Ukrainian star violinist Valeriy Sokolov. On the music stand is the monumental Second Piano Quartet by Dvořák.
During the public masterclasses, visitors get a unique look behind the scenes. The end result can be heard during the Afternoon Concert on Thursday in De Stag.
