Nature photographer and filmmaker Vincent Munier showcases the landscape that shaped him: the forests of the Vosges. Together with his father Michel and his son Simon, he ventures into the woods, where mist hangs between the trees and time seems to slow down. Waiting in hides, listening to the forest, they observe lynx, deer, owls and other shy inhabitants. Munier captures the interplay of light, silence and movement in images that reveal the forest as a living, breathing whole, in which every encounter is rare and meaningful.
