This programme, developed by Wonderfeel and co-produced by the Schiermonnikoog Festival, finally gives a voice to women who were persecuted for centuries — powerful, distinctive and unmistakably relevant today.
New music by five female composers creates a searing sonic world. The Ragazze Quartet forms the heart of the ensemble, while powerhouse Katharine Dain lifts the music to an intense vocal climax.
