How do you prepare for a CD recording? What happens with the recording after it’s finished and what can (and can’t) a record label do for you? Want to find out?

Frerik will be giving coachings about how to make a professional recording. He will answer all your questions concerning producing a CD. Frerik is founder and label manager of ‘7 Mountain Records’. He released over 40 albums and he has worked with many established classical musicians over the past decade.

Assignment – deadline Wednesday 10 March
Please write a letter (max one page) to Frerik in which you pitch your plan for a new recording to an international recording label. Please take the following questions into consideration:

Introduce yourself and describe the repertoire you would like to record?
How do you distinguish yourself from other similar recordings?
What story do you want to tell with this CD?
How do you want to promote your album?
