Migratory bird hike

In September and October, bird migration is in full swing on Schiermonnikoog. Come with us into the countryside in search of autumn birds. In the polder, the forester will tell you where the thousands of brent geese and barnacle geese actually come from and why they are so keen to bivouac on Schiermonnikoog. The mudflats, with their millions of worms, shells and shrimps, attract massive numbers of birds. Make sure not to overlook the beautiful but inconspicuous golden plover! Naturally, we will also visit the Westerplas, a true duck paradise.
